Some of you reading this case study may be asked to carry out a survey of a golf course. Whilst this case study is not intended to be a definitive way to do this it will introduce you to some useful tools that you can use to be more productive.
This is a real course. The purpose of the survey was to identify highs and lows for drainage and to determine surface areas of fairways, greens and tee boxes so that surface treatment can be accurately applied, including chemical sprays. You may be surprised by how we did it!
The data used is provided as part of a training exercise and described in a PDF download sourced elsewhere on this website.
